    INTERESTING QUESTIONS:


    Are there any contraindications or side effects

    The main impact in High Frequency Therapy programs is through speech, and listening is done using headphones and a phone or laptop, and no medical equipment is used. Therefore, there are no contraindications for use of High Frequency Therapy programs.
    But it is still not recommended to listen to the program without consulting with a specialist if anything of the following exists:
    1. Brain tumors
    2. Epilepsy in the acute phase (with seizures)
    Also, since we use speech as stimulation, there should be no side effects when listening. But to avoid excessive excitement in the child, it is not recommended to use strong nootropics simultaneously with listening to the High Frequency Therapy program.


    Main cause of speech delay

    Every child, when born, should be able to distinguish speech sounds well. But almost all children with delayed speech development have a phonemic hearing disorder - their speech perception is impaired.
    This hearing is formed in utero by the voices of people around a pregnant woman, from about 6-7 months of pregnancy. If during this period the fetus is affected by negative factors - for example, lack of oxygen or infection, then phonemic hearing (speech discrimination) develops poorly or does not develop at all. It is also underdeveloped in ASD, autism, and genetic syndromes.
    That’s why mothers during pregnancy are recommended to communicate with their babies in the tummy – hearing even just the mother’s voice, the speech perception zone develops better.




    How does a child hear speech

    The human speech apparatus creates acoustic vibrations.



    The ear processes sound waves and the signals are transmitted to the brain through the auditory nerve.
    Wernicke's area isolates frequencies corresponding to a particular letter.
    As a result, the child distinguishes and understands speech addressed to him.


    How the Program will restore speech recognition

    To create the effects of stimulating the speech areas of the brain (which will be discussed later), each letter of male, female and children's speech, as well as the sounds of music, are digitized.
    For this purpose, High Frequency Therapy uses the world's best recording equipment and software from AVID TECHNOLOGY.




    AVID TECHNOLOGY equipment allows to record 16 channels with a frequency of 192kHz 24bit. Which gives a bandwidth of 73728 kBit/s.
    For comparison, CD sound quality (taken as a sample of sound quality) has the following characteristics: 44.1 kHz, 16 bits, 2 channels. Bandwidth 1411.2 kBit/s.
    Total, High Frequency Therapy programs are almost 52 times better in quality than CDs.

    Effects of High Frequency Therapy (HFT)

    After digitizing the sound using AVID TECHNOLOGY software, audio effects are created that stimulate different areas of the brain.
    These are audio effects such as:

  • filtered by frequency - male, female, children's speech. With the help of special filters, only vowel sounds, voiced consonants, voiceless consonants, hissing sounds can be isolated from them as needed - to improve phonemic hearing (speech recognition).
  • frequency-filtered musical works by Mozart, Vivaldi, Haydn - we isolate in them those frequencies that are now necessary for impact - and overlay them on audio files
  • rhythm stimulation – by changing the rhythm of works in a certain way, we force the brain to correctly perceive information, stimulate the production of attention, in particular, speech attention
  • zoning stimulation - sending signals to certain areas of the brain (and the use of bone headphones allows you to immediately, even without using effects, stimulate 4 zones in two hemispheres, influence subcortical structures. This is effectively used to improve sensory integration in children with ASD.
  • time delay stimulation - by delaying the supply of a signal to a certain hemisphere, to a certain speaker, we can increase the impact on a given hemisphere, making it leading in information processing
  • volume stimulation - setting the volume in a certain speaker higher than in others, allows you to make one of the channels of information perception more sensitive, which also enhances the work of one (given) hemisphere
  • stimulation by delaying the supply of the signal between bone and regular headphones - by delaying the supply of the signal from the upper speakers to the lower ones, we form the correct path in processing phonemic information.
  • stimulation with massage movements – by sending signals alternately to four speakers, we create massage movements in the brain cortex, which allows us to stimulate deeper brain structures (for example, cerebellar stimulation)
  • stimulation by superimposed influences – by simultaneously delivering voice and musical influences, we provide audio training, improving attention processes (concentration, distribution, switching)
  • stimulation with duration of exposure - each program lasts on average from 20 to 25 days, which allows you to work all areas of the GM cortex in maximum mode, fully realizing all the effects of stimulation

  • Main results of the Program

    A child for whom spoken speech was unintelligible, heard as noise, begins to diferentiate letters by ear, and then words. He remembers them and tries to repeat them. This is how the child’s speech development starts, even in the most hopeless cases.

    Principle of operation of High Frequency Therapy Programs

    The basic principles of the HCT Programs are based on several fundamental studies:
    1. Research by Alfred Tomatis and Guy Berard, who proved that the use of high-frequency sounds in certain areas of the brain can restore the performance of these areas.
    2. Research by Alexander Romanovich Luria, who described the main areas of the brain involved in the formation of speech and dialogue.
    3. Research by Lev Semenovich Vygotsky, who proved the predominant influence of speech on the development of other mental functions - thinking, attention, memory, etc.


    Scientifically proven effectiveness of High Frequency Therapy

    In 2021-2022 The Doctrine medical center conducted intraclinical studies of the High Frequency Therapy method. For this purpose, a research group of children with the following diagnoses was recruited:
  • Delayed psycho-speech development;
  • Autism spectrum disorder/autism;
  • Combined disorders of presumably genetic origin.
